Nashville Coffee Company

Retail Location
In 2008 I opened a Coffee Retail store in Hackettstown, NJ. The store was branded with a country theme and could best be described as a cross between Caribou Coffee and Cracker Barrel. We ordered unroasted/raw coffee beans direct from inporters. The coffee was delivered in sacks weighing between 100 and 150 pounds. We roasted the coffee onsite to ensure we had the freshest and best tasting product around.

At the location we offered drinks common in many coffee shops:

  • Caffè Americano
  • Caffè Latte
  • Caffè Macchiato
  • Caffè Mocha
  • Cappuccino
  • Cold Brew
  • Espresso
  • Frappé coffee
  • etc

  • In addition to selling hot and cold drinks, we also sold fresh roasted coffee in one and two pound bags (whole bean and grounded) and offered Americana items that enhanced the theme of our restaurant.

Unfortunately, the location only lasted 18 months. The failure was due to my inexperiance in retail. I closed the store in 2009.

Nashville Coffee Company was a retail store and coffee roaster. We sourced our Arabica Coffee from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Jamaica and Kenya. All of our coffee was roasted fresh on site.
